How to Use the Windows' Screen Magnifier

 

Most computers come with a built-in screen magnifier. Here's how to open the screen magnifier in Windows:

 

 

1. Press the Start button at the bottom left side of your screen.

2. Click on Programs.

3. Click on Accessories.

4. Click on Magnifier.

How to Change Your Monitor's Scheme


1. Right click anywhere on your desktop. A menu will appear.

2. Select Properties.

3. The Display Properties window opens.

4. Click on the Appearance tab.

5. Select one of the four high-contrast schemes.

6. Select Apply.


 

Changing Your Monitor's Screen Area


1. Right click anywhere on your desktop.

2. Select Properties from the menu.

3. On the Display Properties window that appears, click on the Settings tab.

4. You may select an option to adjust the area of your screen. Fewer pixels will make everything on your screen appear larger.


 

 

Changing Your Browser Settings

 

 

Adjusting the font (letter) size of your Internet browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape) may make it easier for you to read this and other Internet websites.

 

Internet Explorer

 

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Click on View at the top of the window.

3. On the drop-down menu that appears, click on Text or Font Size.

4. On the drop-down menu that appears, select Text or Font Size.

5. On the drop-down menu, select Larger or Largest.

 

 

Netscape

1. Open Netscape

2. Click on Edit at the top of the window

3. On the drop-down menu, select Preferences.

3. On the left side of the new window that opens, click on Font.

4. Select the size font you want.

5. When finished, click Okay.

 

 

MSN TV / WebTV

1. Open MSN TV/WebTV viewer.

2. At the top of the window, click on Edit.

3. On the drop-down menu that appears, click on Preferences.

4. On the new window that opens, select Large for large font size.
